#1 – Tomoya Nakajima
#1 was built as the first prototype, with the wenge neck that later went on #3. It was originally fitted with Lace Alumitone pickups that were subsequently replaced with Lundgren Heaven 57 humbuckers in order to do a side-by-side comparison of the sound, as this was early days for the Alumitone product range. Swamp ash stained ebony and black binding made it perfect for another experiment with a Moses Graphite neck, custom made for this purpose. After a workshop in Tokyo, it was picked up by one of the attendees, Tomoya Nakajima, after having replaced the master volume with a concentric tone/volume pot.
